Labour Migration and Issues
Migration is a global phenomenon and Nepal is no exception to it. Though migration can be within or across borders; major concern of Nepal has been the movement of a large number of youths across border in search of employment.
It is necessary to set up the information, communication and counseling centers at community level easily accessible and excisable to the migrant workers and their families. Such outreach centers should be institutionalized and need to be operated by the local govt. authorities in the support of CSOs.
