देशको ध्यान बाल्यकालमै प्राविधिक ज्ञान

The Project Focus of Nation: Technical Education from Childhood was 5 years National Level Project implemented in alliance with Govt. Of Nepal. The project aimed to integrate ICT in Education from School Level. We conducted the various programs at school Level and thousands of schools and students were benefited. The project final report has been published.

Background
In this computer era, the role of information technology is very much essential. In which sector IT is not related: in the field of doctors, to examine all the tests, in the field of engineering to find out strength, capacity of buildings, to complete electrical circuits etc, in the field of govt. offices to maintain the records of all income, expenditure, imports, exports etc that means in every field small or large organization everywhere IT is necessary. But at present context, we people are lacking it due to unskilled human resource and are creating dependency ourselves.

As main objective of CONQUER NEPAL is development and the time and present situation forced CN Nepal, we CN Nepal is going to contribute towards country through IT education from childhood. We are youth, run by youth for the youth and country.

We are in 21st century where technology is the backbone to every nation for their dynamic positive development. Keeping the fact into our consideration, we CN Nepal believes that to change the development status – from least developed to developed, Information Technology (IT) must be encouraged. So to develop in-dependency in the field of IT, this education must be provided from childhood. Because of lack of skilled human resource for a simple programming, networking, today we are paying to others a lot. That means IT if it is professional trained, our country shall developed without any loss of generality. Releasing this, to overcome such facts, we CN Nepal would like to introduce IT orientated program for 4 days at every schools of Nepal for students of class 8,9 & 10 called “देशको ध्यान, बाल्यकालमै प्राविधिक ज्ञान”.

At present situation, everybody knows the importance of Information Technology but no one is ready to improve the system. People are money minded but not concern about the career. Without qualification, knowledge people just wanted to be professional. Actually people do not know what professionalism is. What are the requirements for it. The achievement what foreign countries had achieved 15 years ago, we Nepalese are obtaining now and are still proud for this 15 years back achievement. People do not know much about IT, their scopes and opportunities so IT has been underestimated in present context. General conception is that, only doctors, engineering, CA, govt. jobs are only the field to be advanced but if he/she is in the field of IT, it is valueless. This is because the today’s society does not want to be engaged in IT. They possess fear in them if youth are given opportunities in IT, they will be misguided. Moreover, people are happy if they just can operate computers, surf internet but have no idea about troubleshoot, hardware and software. In the current expect, being an Engineer also people do not get jobs, why???The fact is, when they go for interview at Corporate house or any relevant sectors, they will be asked for global certification courses like CCNA, MCSE etc. So the candidate has to again start these courses from zero level. This means being an engineer also there is no use at all. Bottom line is this, there is 6 years loss for the students (from SLC to BE). Hence we can say, the 6 years of all Nepalese students is not productive. That means if the computer engineering course is not enough to f country wants work for the present market, what may be the condition of the school’s computer class. And this is because society, country is not interested about better career in IT. Even the present education system is not adequate at all. Media is not even supporting projects like ours. Not only this, lack is skilled human resource in the field of IT to talk on these issues seems negligible. So, we CN being a part of country wants to challenge these all present situation and having strong determination, we are going to launch this It based motivational boot camp.

For the implementation of the project, Conquer Nepal signed 5 years MoU with Department of Education Nepal on February 14th, 2013.
